Tabitha Chawinga has won the 2024 D1 Arkema Golden Boot after scoring 19 goals for Paris Saint Germain.
However, her team has failed to clinch the title after a 2-1 defeat to Lyon in the final of the playoffs where she scored the consolation goal.
This comes a week after Chawinga was awarded the UNFP Trophy for Best Player of the Season.
She was also named the D1 Arkema Player of the Season and secured a spot in the team of the season during her debut campaign on loan to Paris Saint Germain.
The Scorchers forward and captain was also named as the Player of the Season in both the Chinese Women’s Super League in 2018 and 2019 – back when she was plying her trade for Jiangsu Suning – and in Serie A in 2023 with Inter Milan.
