Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) has hailed the cordial relationship with the Chinese Embassy for donating two state-of-the-art laptops as well as three top-of-the-range Nikon Cameras.
Speaking after receiving the donation, MBC Director General, George Kasakula, said the donation is timely as the organisation needs such support to continue improving the delivery of its output.
He then assured the Chinese Embassy that the equipment would be put to good use in serving the public.
Kasakula then urged other organisations to emulate the gesture portrayed by the Chinese Government to support the public broadcaster in its operations.
According to Kasakula some of the donated equipment will be allocated to the online services unit of the corporation.
