Malawi is in Group A in the 2024 COSAFA Beach Soccer tournament and they will meet the hosts South Africa tomorrow, March 17,2024 followed by matches against Saudi Arabia on March 18 and Seychelles on March 20.
The 10 – man Malawi squad departed for South Africa on Friday after a two-week training camp in Salima.
Willy Kumilambe, the coach for the team, remains optimistic that Malawi will secure the 2023 Cosafa Beach Soccer Championship title.
“I have full confidence in the squad for the tournament. We believe our set target is within reach,” said Kumilambe.
In this edition, Saudi Arabia participates as guests alongside Group B contenders Morocco and Tanzania, with Mozambique and Angola also featuring in the visitor’s group.
