Episcopal Conference of Malawi (ECM) has announced that the country will host a Bishop’s Sub-region Conference in July this year in Salima.
ECM’s National Coordinator for Communications and Social Research, Father Francis Damasake, said the conference will draw Catholic Bishops from Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
“This is an important conference because bishops from the three countries will have a chance to discuss issues such as strengthening pastoral leadership, promoting unity and addressing contemporary challenges,” said Fr. Damasake.
The conference will run from 15 July to 19 July,2024 and it will be under the theme “Building Bridges: Strengthening Faith, Unity and Service”.
