President Dr Lazarus Chakwera has expressed concern over corrupt tendencies by some officials involved in the distribution of relief items meant to benefit flood victims.
Dr Chakwera said this at Kambwe Evacuation Camp in Karonga District.
Meanwhile, Paramount Chief Kyungu has issued a stern warning against traditional leaders who are involved in the same malpractice.
The Karonga and Chitipa Paramount Chief said he will relieve of duties any chief who will be found involved in the malpractice.
