One of the sports betting companies, Betway, has officially opened its first customer service centre in Blantyre.
Situated along Haile Selassie Road, the centre comes equipped with a service desk and will be providing customers free access to online betting through the company’s smartphones, free pool table and stadium section where customers will be watching live sports on big screens.
Speaking during the opening ceremony, Betway Chief Operations Officer, Charles Phiri, said the office will open platforms for their customers to physically query anything about their services and get assisted right away.
Director of Commerce at Blantyre City Council, Benson Chirwa, who was also guest oh honour, said the opening of the office will see residents having multiple business and employment opportunities.
Betway opened its doors in Malawi last year and provides only online sports betting services.
