Malawi National Council of Sports has reaffirmed its dedication to building a robust partnership with the Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) in the area of sports development.
This has been disclosed by the Council’s Chief Executive Officer, Henry Kamata, during an MBC in-house training session for sports reporters and producers, which is underway in Chikwawa District.
Kamata says the council will continue collaborating with the country’s leading media institution to popularise minority sports codes among the masses.
MBC Director of News and Programmes, Zilani Khonje, says the training serves as an eye-opener for the MBC team.
Throughout the day, various presentations will be made on hockey, basketball, paralympics and golf.
