Premier Bet Malawi has pumped K7.5 million towards the Malawi Sports Awards which is scheduled for February 28 this year in Mangochi.
Premier Bet Malawi Community Manager, Hamsa Mgaye, said the company believes in giving back to the sports community.
Director of Planning, Marketing and Infrastructure Development at the Malawi National Sports Council, Limbani Matola, hailed the company for the support following a plea for partnership.
Fourteen sporting categories will be contested at the awards including the Junior Sportsperson of the Year, National Team of the Year, Best Executed Sport Development Programme of the Year, Sportswoman of the year with a Disability and Sports Person of the Year.
