President Dr Lazarus Chakwera is optimistic that Malawi will soon start reaping results from his discussions with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) government, especially relating to fuel supply stability and foreign investment.
Dr Chakwera said this on arrival from the UAE at Kamuzu International Airport in Lilongwe. He was welcomed by the Deputy Secretary to the President, Janet Banda, Cabinet Ministers and top Malawi Congress Party leaders.
President Chakwera left the country on Thursday last week for bilateral talks with President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on critical national issues that included fuel supply, foreign investment and infrastructure development.
