President Peter Mutharika has appointed seven government officials and approved three Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) delegation to attend the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) high level meeting on HIV and AIDS in New York.

Police have arrested two candidates for alleged cheating in the on-going Junior Certificate of Education – JCE. The two identified as Joseph Mataya and Liphet Gambatula.
