Over three hundred children with orthopedic disability in Mangochi are expected to undergo free surgery curtsy of Beit Cure Malawi. This was revealed during the close of a two week mobile clinic services that the hospital held in Mangochi District to find out the number of children in need of the services.

At least 100 underprivileged learners at Namasimba Primary School in Blantyre can now afford a smile following a donation of new school uniforms by Youth Wing of UTM. The group led by Penjani Kalua who is popularly known as Fredokiss in the music circles said the kind gesture is meant to encourage Malawians to assist the people who are facing various social challenges among others. For her part, head teacher at Namasimba Primary School commended the grouping for the timely donation.
