The club stated that the former Nyasa Big Bullets defender handed in his resignation letter on Saturday, May 15 2021, saying he wants to "face the new challenge".

Nyirenda also played for Namibian Premier League side, Tigers FC and returned home after the league failed to kickoff due to misunderstandings among football officials there.

He started his football career in Nkhotakota while playing for Dwangwa United. He later joined Nyasa Big Bullets before going to Zimbabwe where he played for Caps United.
