Speaking on arrival at Kamuzu International Airport (KIA) Monday, Chinese Leader of Delegation Song Wei Ping said the team comprises of economic and trade investors.
He said Malawi is rich in resources and has business investment opportunities and their visit will be a success.
Ping further states that the forum will bring more Chinese entrepreneurs and cooperation.
Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism, Cliff Chiunda said Chinese Investors will also work with local entrepreneurs to exchange skills and expertise.
“The Forum will give opportunities to business people in the country as they will join venture and share holdings with Chinese investors,” he explained.
The Investment forum will focus on the three main sectors which are Industry, Agriculture and Education.
The Malawi-China Investment Forum will be held on Tuesday, June 21 at Golden Peacock Hotel.
