The Flames lost 3-0 to Zimbabwe's the Warriors who also claimed a 2-1 win in the first leg at Kamuzu Stadium.
Coach Ernest Mtawali made three changes during the game by taking out John ‘CJ’ Banda for Frank ‘Gabadinho’ Mhango and then Wonder Jeremani for Micium Mhone and later subsituted Mhone for forward Muhammad Sulumba.
Mhone, who reacted angrily to Mtawali's decision, has since been replaced with Isaac Kaliati who is to join the team in South Africa enroute to Namibia for this year's COSAFA Cup tournament.
Kaliati, who plays for Mighty Be Forward Wanderers, was left after missing a couple of training sessions due to an injury.
The Flames anchors Group L with two points and remain winless in five games and their last fixture is against Swaziland who defeated Guinea 1-0 in Mbabane, Swaziland on Sunday.
In Namibia, the Flames will face Angola’s Neglas Palancas (Black Antelopes) in their first Cosafa Castle Cup Group B assignment on June 12 at Independence Stadium in Windhoek, Namibia.
Council of Southern Africa Football Associations (Cosafa) on Tuesday released fixtures for the 2016 Cosafa Cup which will run from June 11 to June 22.
Malawi’s second game is against Mauritius on June 14 at the same venue before engaging Lesotho two days later.
The group winners will qualify for the quarter-finals to face South Africa’s Bafana Bafana on June 18.
