Malawi National Team coach Ernest Mtawali said the comeback of the two season midfielders will help to blend the experience between the old and new blood.
The two will make a comeback after missing out on Mtawali’s list for eight games.

So far Ng’ambi has netted four goals for his South Africa Premier Soccer League side, Platinum Stars, and is said to be in top form. Shakira is back at Be Forward Wanderers, hoping to secure a contract for the new season.

Mtawali has recalled nine foreign-based players, including Mozambique-based striker Zicco Mkanda.

There are 15 home-based players on the provisional list whose notable inclusions are Ernest Kakhobwe (Azam Tigers), Ernest Tambe and Jabulani Linje from Be Forward Wanderers).

However South Africa-based professionals Atusaye Nyondo and Esau Kanyenda are missing from the list of foreign players that have been recalled.

Conspicuously missing among the locals are Sankhani Mkandawire, Yamikani Chester, Levison Maganizo and Richard Chipuwa, who made the 2015 Cecafa Cup trip to Ethiopia.
