Andrew Chagaga raped the then 17 year old girl around Limbe after she was arrested for idling.

Passing judgment this afternoon, Magistrate Soka Banda said evidence presented in court by the state proved Chagaga had raped the girl after she was arrested.

Chagaga was arrested mid-December last year. Meanwhile Magistrate Soka Banda has revoked Chagaga's bail.

The court will convene again on 11 August 2021 when Chagaga will be sentenced.
