Malawi environmental media body, Association of Environmental Journalists – AEJ held Annual General Meeting from 3-4 November in Lilongwe where some of its members were awarded for their programmes and contribution in protecting environment.

Malawians have been urged to reflect on how to ensure adequate and affordable housing in the country’s cities. The remarks were made as the country commemorates the 2017 World Cities Day.

Magistrate court in Lilongwe has ordered that self imposed leader of United States of Mulanje and Thyolo Vincent Wandale to undergo mental medical examination to determine whether he is fit to stand trial or not.

President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika openly spoke against the formation of the so called Republic of the United States of Thyolo and Mulanje, being championed by Vincent Wandale.
