ILLEGAL VENDING AFFECTING MZUZU CITY COUNCIL REVENUE BASE Featured

Written by

Chief Executive Officer for Mzuzu City Council, Gomezgani Nyasulu, says putting an end to illegal vending in the city can help boost the council’s revenue collection base. Nyasulu has since announced that the council will work with relevant arms of government to enforce its by-laws.

And Mzuzu Main Market Chairperson, Alexander Sikwese, has disclosed that vendors plying their trade in the market have stopped paying market fees until the council flushes out all vendors plying their trade outside designated markets.
