The Corporation’s Public Relations Officer Chembezi Mhone told MBC Online that this year; the nation should expect fireworks as the institution awards those that are positively contributing to the economy of the country in different fields.

“We are ready to give out the best to the nation; as usual Malawians should expect the best from the mother broadcaster,” said Mhone adding that a lot of Malawians are making a difference in their respective societies.

Mhone added that the awards that are aimed at motivating innovators and promote values of patriotism, integrity and hard work will be spiced up by many activities.

She further disclosed that the Guest of Honor at this years’ event will be President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika.

The Public Relations Officer however called on organisations and companies to partner with MBC.

Like previous editions, 2017 MBC innovations awards will see individuals decorated with awards in different fields like health, education, science and technology, agriculture among others.
