TNM have increased their sponsorship package to K500 million from K150 million for the TNM Super League under a 3-year-deal.
Michel Herbert , TNM Chief Executive Officer, announced the increase in Blantyre along with a raise in teams’ subventions to K10 million each.
This means that at the end of the season, champions will bag K100 million from K40 million, signifying a 150% increment while the runners-up will pocket K40 million and the third-placed team will get K30 million.
Gilbert Mitawa, President of the Super League of Malawi (SULOM), recently stated that the league is valued at K1.3 billion.
