Mzuni’s Vice Chancellor Professor John Kalenga Saka was quoted by Malawi News Agency on Wednesday that the Government through Public Sector Improvement program has supported the institution with funds to urgently construct the library
He did not disclose the amount of funds, but estimates from American architectures says it might cost upwards of K3.7 billion ($5 million).
Saka said the reconstruction work is set to start within the first quarter of 2020
The university has been using their entertainment hall as a temporary library
