Zomba man wins second K10m in “Bwalo Likule” promo

A Zomba based customer man Nelson Gomani has emerged the latest lucky customer to win a monthly grand prize of K10 million in the ongoing Bwalo Likule promotion which is aiming to reward customers for supporting the company.


A 29-year-old Gomani emerged second winner of the monthly grand prize during the promotion draw held in Blantyre on Wednesday

Speaking when TNM called to break the news, Gomani said, “I’m really excited because this has come as surprise, I wasn’t expecting this to come. I would like to encourage other customers to continue being loyal to the local network TNM by using its products and services like Mpamba and others.”

TNM’s Head of Marketing, Sobhuza Ngwenya said the company is excited with progress of the promotion, which he said continues to thrill more customers.

“Many customers are excited that the promotion has a very exciting component which gives them an opportunity to share K5 million out of the cash prize of K10 million with friends, relatives or associates of their choice,” he said.

Ngwenya said, “Bwalo Likule” has been designed to spread the benefits of staying on Malawi’s own home grown mobile and ICT network service provider to more customers beyond the winner. He noted that as Malawians, traditionally, the spirit of sharing is in our veins to spread some benefits to others in the community.

“Good times are best enjoyed when one shares whatever is under their custody. When you share, you spread the joy beyond self, and this is why the promotion was coined as “Bwalo Likule” so that the circle of customers reaping the benefits of being loyal to TNM, widens,” he said.

During the three-month promotion, three lucky winners will win a total of K30 million and share it with 60 TNM subscribers of their choice. During the first monthly draw Edwin Nyanda, a Lilongwe based man, emerged winner of the K10 million top prize and TNM has since fulfilled its promise to reward the first jackpot winner.

Ngwenya said to date the company has dished out over K34 million in cash prizes and airtime worth K400,000 to 502 customers across the country

To stand a chance of winning, customers are required to use a minimum of K200 airtime or more every two weeks. During monthly draws, one lucky customer wins K10 million and is to split it into half, pocketing the K5 million and sharing the remainder of K5 million with 20 TNM subscribers of their choice.

There are also fortnightly draws during which 10 subscribers win K100, 000 and five subscribers win K500, 000. During the same fortnightly draws, 100 subscribers also win K1, 000 worth of airtime.
