SKC TO HOLD ‘MINDSET CHANGE’ PUBLIC LECTURE FRIDAY

Malawi's Vice President Dr Saulos Chilima will deliver a public lecture themed 'Mindset Change' this Friday at the Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe, which will focus on "mindset change as a precursor to personal development, national development and smooth implementation of
public sector reforms," Pirirani Phiri, the VPs publicist, told MBC.

Phiri said due to COVID-19 pandemic, entry to the venue will be restricted and all health measures against the spread of the deadly disease will be adhered to.

 

The convener of the public lecture is Dr. Asiyati Chiweza, associate professor of Public Administration at Chancellor College.

 

The lecture will also include question time where the Vice President will take questions from the audience after presentation.

 


Chilima is also Minister of Economic Planning and Development and Public Sector Reforms.


In February 2018, Chilima  delivered his furst public lecture at Chancellor College in Zomba titled “Addressing Moral Decadence: Towards an Effective Compliance and Ethics Programme”, where among others he called for an ethical society which results into individual reputation and economic gains of the country. - MBC.
