President Peter Mutharika has advised the Malawi Judiciary to be impartial in the delivery of their services, saying Malawi will measure the arm of Government on the basis of how they they deliver justice.

President Peter Mutharika has said there must be a total separation of powers among the three branches of government, namely; Judiciary, Legislature and Executive, saying that is what rules of good governance demand.

The Malawi Electoral Commission is set to launch by-elections slated for October 17 in some six areas of the country on Wednesday.

Malawi is set to launch National Alcohol Policy which aims at regulating supply and demand of alcohol in the country in order to protect young people from excessive consumption of the substance.
