Malawi will soon start producing powdered milk. This will be the first factory to be producing powdered milk in the country and owned by a Malawian. The 190 million kwacha worth factory will be opened in August in Mpemba, Blantyre.
The Parliamentary Conservation Caucus says despite the country having a new legislation to help combat wildlife crimes, there is poor enforcement of the law fueling corruption and increased illicit trafficking of wildlife and forestry products.
At least 123 learners at Katoto Primary school in the city of Mzuzu are using a single toilet. This is against government recommendation which stipulates that one toilet can safely be used by 25 learners. This was reviewed when Grand Palace Hotel handed over toilets to school.
