The decision means that Ngwira who is also a member of parliament for Mzimba Nsolora is no longer a provincial chairperson for the north and National Executive Committee (NEC) Member.

But Ngwira who has  confirmed receiving the dismissal letter signed by PPs vice-president (central region), Uladi Mussa on Wednesday ,has maintained his stand that Mussa who is leading the party on an acting capacity is killing the party by advancing personal hidden agendas rather than those of the party.

This is the second time Ngwira has been removed from the orange camp following a suspension which was handed to him and later lifted for openly firing Joyce Banda for Kachali in September this year.

According to the latest dismissal letter, Ngwira is being accused of destabilizing the party, obtaining an injunction stopping any party official from executing their duties without his consent.

Keneth Nsonda, the organising secretary for PP, has hinted that the current firing unlike the first one has the blessings of Joyce Banda. “This time around we are not forgiving him because he has become unruly and a major destruction to the party.

And we are warning him that if he continues to make those allegations we shall have no option but to remove him as our member.” warned Nsonda.

But Ngwira has denied all the accusations saying he stand by his decision that the party needs people who have been elected by people not appointed by a human being.

He added “Some of the people in the party including Mussa are eying for Bandas position and are doing everything possible to get rid of people like me because I stand for the truth.”

He argued the choice of Kachali was based on his ability to lead and rebuild the party from the grassroots.

Meanwhile, Ngwira said he was consulting his followers on what action to take against the party following the dismissal. The founder of the Party Joyce Banda has been abroad since she came third in the 2014 general elections.
