24 members of Parliament belonging to DPP, who were suspended on Monday for disobeying the Speaker, are today back in parliament at the end of their two-day punishment.
Speaker of the House, Catherine Gotani Hara, evoked Standing Order 105 on Monday for the MPs following chaos that broke out in the House as regards who was going to respond to the SONA as Leader of Opposition that day.
Thyolo Thava MP Mary Navicha failed to take the floor for SONA response as Leader of DPP as she was among the legislators sent out of the House following the chaos.
On Tuesday, the Speaker announced that Navicha would respond to the SONA on Thursday once the 24 MPs are back in the House.
