The World Health Organisation (WHO) has given Pediatric Severe Acute Malnutrition ( PEDSAM) kits to the Malawi Government worth over K60 million.
The kits are designed to provide essential supplies necessary for effective treatment and care of children suffering from malnutrition and Malaria.
Neema Kimambo, WHO country Representative, said the provision ensures sustained efforts in combating malnutrition among children.
Minister of Health, Khumbize Kandodo Chiponda, described the donation as timely.
