TADIKIRA’S COURT CASE ADJOURNED

The Mzuzu High Court has adjourned a human trafficking case involving former President Peter Mutharika’s stepson Tadikila Mafubza to this afternoon.

Defence lawyer, Gilbert Khonyongwa, said the adjournment was due to the absence of state lawyers at the court, who reportedly had a car breakdown.

Mafubza and seven others are accused of being linked to the death of 30 suspected human trafficking victims, whose bodies were found in a mass grave at Mtangatanga Forest in Mzimba District in 2022.
