Nsanje District Commissioner, Dominic Mwandira, has called for stronger collaboration among electoral stakeholders to ensure the success of the 2025 general elections.
Mwandira made the remarks on Monday at the opening of a day-long electoral stakeholders meeting on voter registration pilot exercise to be conducted in the district.
He said election stakeholders are key in successful elections and called for good working relationship.
Director of Media and Public Relations at Malawi Electoral Commision (MEC), Sangwani Mwafulirwa, said the exercise will help to test the electoral process and equipment to appreciate challenges and their possible solutions.
The pilot exercise in the district will commence from 18 to 19 September 2024, in Nsanje Lalanje and Nsanje Central Constituencies.
