Organisers of Lake of Stars music festival have announced that Nkhotakota’s Fish Eagle Bay Lodge will serve as this year’s venue from 6 to 8 September.
Sharmila Elias, Head of Projects & Productions at Lake of Stars, said the district has not hosted the international arts festival before.
“The ethos of boosting tourism, sharing our rich heritage, sustainability and environmental stewardship embodied by the eco-lodge and the district aligns perfectly with our festival’s values, and we can’t wait to share this incredible setting with our attendees,” Elias said.
Anchen Jooste, Managing Director at Fish Eagle Bay Lodge said they are ready to host the event.
“It allows us to reflect our unwavering commitment to uplift communities, showcase Nkhotakota’s warm-hearted hospitality and unique offerings to the world,” expressed Anchen.
The organisers have since introduced early bird ticket prices, which will be on the market from Friday as a way of making the festival accessible.
