Ex-Premier Bet Dedza Dynamos attacker, Promise Kamwendo, has signed a three-year deal with Mighty Mukuru Wanderers following the expiry of his contract.
Wanderers have announced that his arrival’s move to Lali Lubani Road brings fresh attacking options to the team.
The forward spent the last three seasons at Dedza Dynamos FC and scored 29 goals. Prior to that, he was at Extreme FC.
However, his transfer journey has been controversial.
During the 2024 mid-season transfer window, the Football Association of Malawi ordered Kamwendo to return to Dedza after he improperly signed a contract with Wanderers.
Prior to that, the striker had reportedly agreed to join FCB Nyasa Big Bullets, which sparked a transfer dispute.
