He was speaking during a whistle stop tour at Nkhata Bay Boma. Muluzi said others do not appreciate various political ideologies they only concentrate on negativities.

"When another party is in government it doesn't mean that our job should be criticising and destroying their efforts because those who suffer are innocent Malawians," said Muluzi.

Muluzi added that UDF and AFORD have showed Malawians that two parties can work together and deliver.

"This is why in the Northern region we have various developments like Mzuzu High Court, Auction Floors, Mzuzu University, Mzuzu Central Hospital because of our alliance with Aford," added Muluzi.

The youthful presidential candidate further said that the Aford/UDF alliance has demonstrated to Malawians that they could differ in political ideology, religion, and tribes but managed to work together to build Malawi because it is a service to the citizenry.

“Our aim should be building one Malawi for all with no discrimination," added Muluzi.

Muluzi also assured the people of Nkhata Bay that he is going to abolish the quota system once voted into government come 21st May.

Frank Tumpale Mwenefumbo urged the electorate to vote for Muluzi so that Malawi can develop.

"We should start afresh don't accept to be treated as second class citizens because Nkhata Bay people are important in the history of Malawi," said Mwenefumbo.

Mwenefumbo highlighted the UDF manifesto like inclusive growth and economic freedom.
