Speaking in an interview in Mangochi TNM’s Chief Officer – Enterprise Services Vishwajeet Deshmukh said these services offer wide range of products and services that ease business operations and reduce costs.
“The Internet of everything is transforming the way every business operates. Some companies are faring better than others in the race to transform into a digital business. Through “Think Digital” campaign, TNM has taken a step further to introduce digital services, the broad range of technologies and applications that enable greater efficiency,” said Deshmukh.
Deshmukh said under “Think Digital”, TNM is providing full world-class ICT solutions to enterprises across the country supported by its newly launched first ever 4.5G/LTE network.
“We offer total communication solutions to businesses in Malawi by offering quality connectivity through various access mediums, hosted services across geographies, enterprise communications services and mobility. Our products and services are tailor-made to bring about efficiency in how businesses, whether big or small, operate,” he said.
The products and services under “Think Digital” which are enabled by 4.5 G/LTE include Video, Conferencing services, Hosted PBX services (Business Connect) and Customer Contact Centre (CCC) among others.
“These range of services are tailor-made for large, small and medium enterprises hence giving comfort to our customers. Mobile phone technology and internet are no longer a luxury but rather an enabler to socio-economic development,” Chief Officer – Enterprise Services added.
TNM’s Video conferencing solutions enable feature rich, multi-point conferencing without expensive infrastructure requirements, by taking video and audio conferencing into the cloud, regardless of geographical location.
“Video conferencing is there to reduce travel expenses as it eliminates a big percentage of travel costs; at the same time enhancing efficiency. Face-to-face meetings are not always possible or practical hence this service complementing such meetings,” he said.
In June, 2016 TNM upgraded its network to 4G LTE, the first step towards transforming its network followed by the roll out of 4.5G LTE in August, 2017 in order to deliver a fast and reliable experience for customers and improved business connectivity services.
