– Tanzania are searching for their first win having lost 1-0 to Swaziland in Group B opener on Monday at the same venue. Tanzania coach Mart Nooij has made two changes with Salum Salum and Juma Luizio getting the nod ahead of Saimon Msuva and Shomari Kapombe.

– Having beaten Lesotho 2-1 in the first game, Madagascar coach Franck Rajaonarisamba has conventionally gone for the ‘don’t fix it if it’s not broken’ mentality as he has maintained the winning side captained by Michael Rabeson.

 2 – Free kick for Madagascar. They play it short allowing Tanzania to regain possession.

 4′ – Zenith fouls a Tanzania player to give the Taifa Stars a free-kick, but header goes wide from the long ball into the box.

 5′ – Francois comes so close for Madagascar but his shot flies over the bar. Tanzania relieved.

 8′ – Rabeson of Madagascar cannot direct his shot on target. Action swings to the other end, but Tanzania’s attack is halted after being caught offside.

 14′ – GOAL! Madagascar lead as Rakotoharimalala blasts the ball into the top of the net! 1-0!

 18′ – Madagascar continue to look the most likely of scoring, with Tanzania yet to create a clear-cut chance.

 22′ – Tanzania win a rare corner … it comes to nothing.

 26′ – This would be a huge win for Madagascar in this group if they can hold on and they have certainly impressed so far. They have used their wings especially well.

 29′ – Free-kick to Tanzania some 40 yards from goal. The wall does it’s job and the chance comes to nothing.

 32′ – Corner chance for Madagascar now … It is eventually cleared.

38′ – Tanzania are starting to look brighter and now have the monopoly of possession. Madagascar keeper Dieudonne needs to be smart to save from a set-piece. That was Tanzania’s first shot on target.

 43′ – Rakotoharimalala went on a fine run down the left-hand side, but was blocked off as he tried to break into the box. No foul given though.

 44’ – GOAL! It is 2-0 to Madagascar as Randriamanjaka fires home after finding space on the right-hand side of the box!

 HALFTIME – Madagascar league 2-0 at the break and deservedly so. They have looked much the more threatening.

 50′ – Tanzania caught off-side as towering striker Bocco was about to sneak past Madagascar defence. He has been very quiet in this game!

 61′ – Nyoni’s shot is blocked for corner. Tanzania defender Ambros heads over the bar, but it was deflected onto a Madagascar player for yet another corner which Zenith clears to safety back into the field of play.

 64′ – Rakotoharina jumps to meet a long searching ball but his foot cannot reach the ball which Tanzania the keeper takes away.

 86′ - Zenith, Madagascar left back, has been solid in defence and in the process frustrating increasingly isolated Bocco.

 88′ – Free-kick for Tanzania. Mbonde sends a weak shot off the chest of the Madagascar goalkeeper who eventually spills the ball before gathering it. Tanzania fans yelling!
