– Tanzania are searching for their first win having lost 1-0 to Swaziland in Group B opener on Monday at the same venue. Tanzania coach Mart Nooij has made two changes with Salum Salum and Juma Luizio getting the nod ahead of Saimon Msuva and Shomari Kapombe.
– Having beaten Lesotho 2-1 in the first game, Madagascar coach Franck Rajaonarisamba has conventionally gone for the ‘don’t fix it if it’s not broken’ mentality as he has maintained the winning side captained by Michael Rabeson.

4′ – Zenith fouls a Tanzania player to give the Taifa Stars a free-kick, but header goes wide from the long ball into the box.
5′ – Francois comes so close for Madagascar but his shot flies over the bar. Tanzania relieved.
8′ – Rabeson of Madagascar cannot direct his shot on target. Action swings to the other end, but Tanzania’s attack is halted after being caught offside.
14′ – GOAL! Madagascar lead as Rakotoharimalala blasts the ball into the top of the net! 1-0!
18′ – Madagascar continue to look the most likely of scoring, with Tanzania yet to create a clear-cut chance.
22′ – Tanzania win a rare corner … it comes to nothing.
26′ – This would be a huge win for Madagascar in this group if they can hold on and they have certainly impressed so far. They have used their wings especially well.
29′ – Free-kick to Tanzania some 40 yards from goal. The wall does it’s job and the chance comes to nothing.

38′ – Tanzania are starting to look brighter and now have the monopoly of possession. Madagascar keeper Dieudonne needs to be smart to save from a set-piece. That was Tanzania’s first shot on target.
