Mighty Be Forward Wanderers, Moyale Barracks and Kamuzu Barracks have sailed through to the semifinals of the 2017 Airtel Top 8 Cup after roasting their opponents.


The battle for the inaugural Airtel Top 8 Cup's semifinal slots continues this weekend with Nyasa Big Bullets and Azam Tigers promising to upset the quarterfinal first leg 0-1 and 2-0 defeats to Silver Strikers and Mighty Be Forward Wanderers, respectively.


Mighty Be Forward Wanderers kept their hopes of maintaining the record of winning inaugural trophies as second-half goals from Jaffalie Chande and Joseph Kamwendo earned them a 2-0 home win Azam Tigers in the Airtel Top 8 Knock-out quarterfinal first leg played at Balaka Stadium on Sunday.
