The second draw of TNM’s Sapota Mapeto SMS promotion registered a sharp rise in the revenue almost double that of the first month.
The accumulated revenue for all teams is K6,417,750 with Bullets FC, who registered the highest hits, pocketing K2.7 million followed by archrivals Mighty Be Forward Wanderers K1,429,295.
Central Region giants Silver Strikers K236,810 from 6,766 hits, Super League rookies Dedza Young Stars proved that they are team of the people in the district by coming fourth with K17,745 from 507 hits.
Moyale Barracks come fifth with K16,450 from 470 hits their fellow military outfit Kamuzu Barracks are on sixth with K12,250 from 350 hits, Civo United pocketed K11,305 from 507 hits, Kamuzu Barracks K6,475, Azam Tigers (K5,250), Mzuni (K4,200), Mafco (KK3,570) Red Lions (K3,325).
Blue Eagles registered (K3,290), Epac United (K3,220) and Fisd Wizzards who are anchroing the log table are also the last in the promotion with just (K2,205).
Bullets FC supporter Charles Kwilombe, who lives in Ndirande and works at Rab processors, emerged winner of the grand prize of the monthly draw of K200,000.
The top league sponsors also gave out K2,500 to each of the 10 lucky winners, K5,000 to each of the five lucky winners, five national team replica jerseys and a handset.
TNM Marketing and Sponsorship Manager Limbanin Nsapato described the second draw as impressive with the revenue.
“We have seen a marked improvement as we have raised almost K7 million with all the 15 teams sharing K4.4 million,” Nsapato said.
He also commended Dedza Young Soccer for managing to generate more revenue as compared to oldest teams of the league.
