Red Lions started the campaign on a positive note with a 2-0 triumph over Civo United at their home base, Zomba Community Centre Ground and mauled fellow soliders Airborne Rangers 4-1 on Sunday in Chitowe.
They have 6 points apiece with Blue Eagles, Big Bullets and Mafco in that order but the Zomba baed soldiers have a better goal aggregate.
They have scored six goals and conceded one while Blue Eagles have six goals but conceded two, Bullets have scored five goals but conceded two and Mafco scored four and conceded one.
Dedza Young Soccer Stars have taken their start to the season by storm after holding Moyale Barracks before thrashing Mzuni FC another Super League rookie by 3-0 to fall in the band of four point-bracket together with Be Forward Wanderers, Moyale and Azam Tigers.
Kamuzu Barracks have three points just as Epac FC who recovered from a 3-1 loss to Mighty Wanderers to beating Moyale 2-1.
