The Malawi leader President Peter Mutharika has ordered the Lilongwe City Council to borrow a leaf from their Blantyre and Mzuzu counterparts in the management of refuse.

President Peter Mutharika has distanced his office from the recent issuance of arrest warrant against former president Joyce Banda on allegations that she was involved in the wanton plunder of public money at Capital Hill, popularly know as cashgate.

The Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA) has impounded the bus, under Kwezy brand, on allegation that the owner, Benson Vitsitsi, presented falsified documents during clearance.

The First Lady, Dr. Gertrude Mutharika, will on Friday, hold an interface meeting with the youth from the Central Region at Kamuzu Palace in Lilongwe.
