The Reserve Bank of Malawi under its National Financial Literacy program has urged broadcasters in the country to report and produce programs that highlight on how Malawians can understand their rights and responsibilities when it comes to dealing with financial services and providers.

The President Professor Peter Mutharika and the First Lady Madam Dr. Gertrude Mutharika have said they are deeply saddened by the death of seven people in an accident that happened on Saturday, 9th September, 2017, at around 1:30pm at Six Miles on the Robert Mugabe Highway between Mulanje and Limbe in Southern Malawi.

One of the 2016 MBC Innovations awardees Dr. Medson Matchaya, on Tuesday afternoon left for China to attend a three week training on various health courses.
