Former Speaker of Parliament who is also an aspiring candidate for the Democratic Progressive Party  - DPP for Nkhotakota North Constituency Henry Chimunthu Banda has appealed to the electorate to vote wisely by casting their vote in favour of Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika as president on 21st May polls for continued development as evidenced  in his 5 year term of office.

Thousands have joined the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) in following development and campaign rally the party’s Vice President for the South Kondwani Nankhumwa addressed at Chikonde Primary School in the district.


Political parties in Nkhotakota North and Nkhotakota North-East constituencies have pledged to conduct a clean campaign ahead of the May 21 polls.  


DPP Vice President for the South, Kondwani Nankhumwa has emphasised on the need for all political players in Malawi to practice clean and peaceful politics. He said it is high time that all parties in the country adhere to developmental issue-based campaign other than castigating one another because of their difference in political ideologies.
