Under the Malawi 2020 Tea revitalization program the sector through the Tea Association of Malawi is holding the second round of talks with Tea buyers in Blantyre.

This is a follow-up meeting to the one held in Britain in June this year where tea buyers made a commitment to offer better prices.

Opening the talks, Minister of Labour, Youth and Manpower Development Henry Mussa said government was committed to providing decent wages to estate workers and farmers.

Mussa said the sector was integral to the socio-economic development of the country.
