Chimulirenji paints Mzuzu Blue

Democratic Progressive Party - DPP Presidential Running mate Everton Chimulirenji held a Political rally at Kawuwa Primary School ground in Mzuzu city where multitudes gathered to listen to the DPP development agenda.

The rally was part of part of his familiarization tour as well as selling the DPP development agenda under the leadership of President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika.
 
Speaking to the mammoth crowd clad in DPP blue, Chimulirenji first started by conveying President Mutharika’s commitment to ensure that lives of people with albinism in the country are safeguarded.
 
Chimulirenji then assured people in Mzuzu and the Northern region as a whole that he will support President Mutharika and that the DPP will carry the day come 21 May this year.
 
“I am very humbled that President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika chose me as his running mate, and as I said in the Central region last week, my job is to support the President’s development agenda,” said Chimulirenji.
 
Also speaking at the rally, DPP Secretary General, Grezeldar Jeffrey said under the leadership of President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika, the country and the Northern region in particular has experienced tremendous development with each district having a major development to point at.
 
“DPP under President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika has constructed the Mzuzu Dual Carriage way, brought safe water in Chitipa, Mzimba, the Nkhata Bay to  Mzuzu M5 road and many other development projects in the Northern region,” said Jeffrey .
 
And speaking on behalf the Northern region, DPP Vice President for the North, Goodall Gondwe, said the region is happy and has welcomed whole heartedly the choice of Everton Chimulirenji as running mate to President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika.
 
“The Northern region agrees with President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika in choosing Chimulirenji and we believe this is a winning combination,” said Gondwe.
 
The rally was attended by chiefs, the clergy, some DPP national governing council members, DPP regional Committees and people of different ages from across the city.
