Malawi 2018 UMP Awards: All the winners

Malawian musician Pisky was the biggest winner at the 2018 Urban Music People (UMP) Awards ceremony held at Robins Park in Blantyre, Malawi, on 29 December.

The artist went home with Artist of the Year and Song of the Year accolades. Tuno was crowned Female Artist of the Year winner while Eli Njuchi was named Best New Act. Suffix's album Before I Sleep earned him the Album of the Year title. Faith Mussa and Henwood triumphed in the Best Live Act and Best Producer categories respectively. South African artist King Monada came tops in the Best SADC Act category.


Other winners include Zathu Band (Best Band), Mabiliganya Empire (Best Duo/Group), Gwamba featuring Fredokiss (Collaboration of the Year), Fredokiss (Humanitarian Award) and Shammah Vocals (Best Afro Soul).
