According to Limbe Deputy Police Public Relations Officer Pedzesayi Zembeneko, the suspect Daniel Kosimo was arrested at one of the drinking points at Bvumbwe trading centre in Thyolo district.

“Kosimo fetched out a two thousand kwacha note to settle his bill but the bar tender noticed that the bank note was not original. After noticing that, police were informed and came to arrest the suspect,” said Zembeneko.

Kosimo was searched and was found with 10 thousand kwacha in 2 thousand kwacha notes and 2 thousand kwacha in one thousand notes.

The suspect hails from Bernard village Traditional Authority Bvumbwe in Thyolo.
