According to a statement, Chilima has been delegated by His Excellency President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika to attend the swearing in ceremony at Uhuru Stadium in Dar es Salaam on Thursday, 5th November.

The Veep returns home the same Thursday soon after the inauguration through Kamuzu International Airport (KIA) in Lilongwe.

Magufuli, known as “The Bulldozer”, won with 58% of the vote to the 40% of his main rival Edward Lowassa.
