Bonongwe died at Queen Elisabeth Central hospital while as Mangulenje breathed his last at Mwayiwathu Hospital in Blantyre both after a short illness.

The body of late Legislature is expected to arrive at his home village today Thursday 24 September 2015 from College of medicine.

The burial ceremony will take place Friday, September 25, 2015 at his home village of Komiha in the area of Traditional Authority Mwambo in the district.

Mean while DPP has said the death of the two is a big shock to the party.

According to the party`s secretary general Eklein Kudontoni the two contributed significantly to the party`s 2014 victory.

Late Mangulenje became Member of Parliament for the area in 2009 and he retained the seat during 2014 tripartite elections.
