ABC Foundation constructs school in Chiradzulu

ABC foundation of Germany courtesy of Tsogolo la Ana an organisation advocating for the rights of children has constructed Naziwale LEA School in the area of Senior Chief Chitera.


In his remarks senior inspector of Schools in the Shire Highlands Division who was the guest of honour Samuel Mandauka commended ABC Foundation Director Franz Joseph Kuhn for supporting in the improvement of education standards in the country.


Mandauka also commended Member of Parliament for Chiradzulu West who is also Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Dr Emmanuel Fabiano for making sure that children in his area have access to quality education.


“What the parliamentarian has done by courting the donors has demonstrated his vision in making sure that children are not walking long distances when going to school," Mandauka said.


Mandauka also urged the people to follow the pillars of development advocated by the President of integrity, hardworking and patriotism.


Also speaking at the function was an official from Tsogolo La Ana, Lucy Maunde who described the school as vital development for the people of the area. Maunde said they have used over 45 million Kwacha for the construction of the school.


Also speaking at the function the sponsor Franz Joseph Kuhn of ABC Foundation urged the community to take care of the infrastructure.


All the classes have desks from standard one up to eight. The official handover ceremony for Naziwale LEA School was attended by chiefs, acting District Commissioner for Chiradzulu Harris Kachale, Acting Education Manager for Chiradzulu Ruth Chibani and a representative of the Member of Parliament Francis M'baya.
