According to Limbe Deputy Public Relations Officer, Pedzesayi Zembeneko on 15/02/17 Charles Magalasi and his gang attacked and robbed the following items K300,000-00 cash,2 sim box pack worth K 125,000-00,2 sim box card worth K125,000-00, scumber 2 airtel bips, Airtel cap, 2 cellphones all totalling to K600,000-00.

“The items were robbed from the victim name withheld around 18:45 hours along Dunduzu road near Escom house. The victim was attacked on his way back from welcoming his visitors at Limbe bus depot,” said Zembeneko.

During mitigation, Magalasi asked for leniency as he is serving an 8 year jail term at Chichiri Prison for robbery with violence.

However, Limbe/Dalton Second Grade Magistrate Kobiri said long custodian sentence would give him time to reform and deter would be offenders.
