The part stalled for about eight months after the Blantyre City Council protested the delay in completion by the contractor Fargo Limited.
Ironically, BCC has re-awarded the same contract to the same contractor, at a contract price of K370 879. 95million.
Meanwhile, BCC has embarked on roads and infrastructure rehabilitation within the Blantyre City.
